The Golden Calabash Book

Premise:

The Golden Calabash Project is a series of short African folktales aimed at preserving ancient African stories passed on by word of mouth from one generation to the next. The first storybook in the series, The Golden Calabash tells the story of Kehinde and Taiwo, twin boys rescued by god Shango as infants. They grow up in the forest  and learn to be brave, strong and wise. The storybook was written and illustrated in ink on paper by Itse Daibo, the author.

10 minute bedtime story read-along on @goldencalabash YouTube channel illustrated and voiced by the author. Live ongoing sessions will cover stories in the series to come.
