Reed baskets have been traditionally used by Portuguese women for shopping and carrying items. They come in all colours, shapes and sizes and take us back to childhood memories of long warm days at the beach, countryside picnics and visits to the local market with Grandma.
All our bags are 100% hand-woven using 100% organic reed; they have been lovingly crafted by a family of weavers, who have been making baskets for generations. ODILE aims to preserve this ancestral tradition of Portuguese basketry taking on a modern approach using distinctive vibrant colours and geometric patterns.
Each bag can be customized at CHECK-OUT with your own initials, embossed on the leather hang tag.
