Kate is an artist and interior designer from the East Coast. She approaches her art as a vehicle to create a community and connect with the world around her.  Pulling inspiration from New York’s vibrant art scene, this scarf is an ode to the creative world she grew up in. She is enamored by the diverse street style, cutting edge design, and freedom of expression in this imaginative city. Much like New York, her art is a combination of chaos and order.  She layers acrylics and pastels to reveal a deliberate fusion of geometric shapes, light, and color while allowing a free-flowing spontaneous overlay of lines. In this scarf, she captures the magic of the bright lights, buzzing streets, and cityscapes of New York.
