Agua by Agua Bendita is a luxury womenswear label that bolsters artisanal handcrafted designs and environmentally conscious practices.
After running a successful swimwear brand for over a decade, Colombian entrepreneurs Catalina Alvarez and Mariana Hinestroza joined forces with Isabella Behrens and Cloclo Echavarria of Sí Collective and launched Agua by Agua Bendita in 2018 as the luxury counterpart to their existing brand. With its hand painted prints, that range from flowers and palm trees to corals and antique postage stamps, the label pays tribute to Colombia’s biodiversity, culture and history.
What is your creative mission?
We believe in creating pieces that can be worn and loved for years because of their timeless design and excellent quality. We are inspired by nature and strive to honour it in all our practices. We exist thanks to the able hands of our artisan partners, women heads of household who embroider our garments, making each one unique.
